The picturesque hamlet of Kilham enjoys a tranquil and peaceful setting and is surrounded by stunning open countryside. This small cluster of cottages was originally designated for farm labourers and Black Bull Cottage has been recently refurbished with a complete makeover to now offer self catering holiday accommodation to an excellent standard. This cottage is deceptively spacious courtesy of a newly built but sympathetic L shaped extension and gives a wonderful blend of character and charm with all modern amenities desired for contemporary living. With the added convenience of being all on ground floor level, Black Bull Cottage is particularly well equipped with youngsters in mind. The fully enclosed garden is a haven for children safe at play. The large sitting room has exposed beams and a cosy multi fuel stove nestles within an inglenook fireplace. There is also a pot bellied stove in the kitchen for extreme weather conditions or power cuts and the kitchen and both bathrooms are heated by electric under floor heating with additional electric heaters in all other rooms.
