A traditional cottage in the pretty village of Mortehoe enjoying sea views across to Hartland Point and Lundy Island.
As its name suggests, this Victorian terraced cottage sits just across from the National Trust headland of Morte Point with superb sea views across to Hartland Point and Lundy Island, enjoyed to the full from the front decking area. A rural aspect is enjoyed from the rear as the cottage backs onto National Trust countryside. The spacious living/dining room has laminate flooring and cosy wood burning stove while the compact newly refitted kitchen sits to the rear with a door to a small courtyard. Upstairs there are two bedrooms both furnished in pine together with a separate modern bathroom. Enjoying spectacular scenery, Seaview Cottage is close to the coastal path and just a few minutes' walk from the pretty village centre with a choice of pubs and the local stores. With Grunta Bay and Combesgate beach within walking distance and the fabulous surfing beach at Woolacombe just a short drive away, this traditional cottage is ideal for walkers, surfing enthusiasts, families or couples looking for a comfortable base in this lovely area.
Accommodation: Ground floor: Open plan living/dining room with TV with satellite Freeview, video, DVD, stereo and wood burning stove. Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, washing machine and fridge/freezer. First floor: Bedroom 1 with Double. Bedroom 2 with Twin. Bathroom with bath with fitted shower over bath, WC and basin.
Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. NS heaters. Complimentary basket of logs in the winter months. 3 pets welcome. 1 private parking space. Front decked area. No smoking. Short breaks available. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
