Description of The Philcot
A comfortable detached bungalow at the top of Port Isaac with spectacular views over the cottages and harbour of this historic fishing village. Set partly into the hillside, a steep drive and steps lead down to the bungalow.
The accommodation is light and makes the most of the views with full length double glazed windows which in the master bedroom open onto a small private balcony. There is a large well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. From the large sitting / dining room patio doors open onto a raised seating area with steps leading down to a fenced terrace which runs the length of the bungalow, an ideal place to simply enjoy the views or have a barbecue.
There are three bedrooms, a king sized double with ensuite shower room, WC and hand basin, one with twin beds and an ensuite shower room, WC and hand basin and a children's room with single beds. There is a family bathroom with WC, hand basin, shower cubicle and short bath. A flight of steep steps with hand rail leads down from the terrace to a large area of fenced and sheltered sloping lawn and garden. Parking is available for 2 cars on the drive.
